Sophie Stafford (Wildlife Photographer)
Sophie works as an independent communications and photography consultant for leading wildlife conservation charities, helping them to improve supporter engagement through the power of visual storytelling.
Editor of BBC Wildlife Magazine for nearly 10 years, she is a trained biologist who has travelled the globe in search of the best stories and images.
For eight years, Sophie was co-manager and judge of the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. To date she has joined the juries of many of the world’s wildlife photo contests, from as far afield as Amsterdam, Shanghai and Mexico.
