Description: During the dry season in Botswana’s Chobe National Park, elephants gather in large groups near aterholes. With a fire on the horizon, I used a long exposure, capturing the stars, the glow of the fire, and the silhouettes of the elephants. With a bit of luck, I also captured the main subject that remained in front of the firelight, while the rest of the pack moved around.

Description: Wallace’s Flying Frog is a moss frog found in Malaysia and western Indonesia. It is generally quite photogenic given its large size, brilliant colours and calm temperament. This is a shot taken of a specimen swimming in water, with full extension of its beautiful long legs.
