Jean has been passionate about sport since his teenage years, when he was immersed in his mother’s world as a picture researcher. His career combines these two worlds. He was Head of Photography, then Editor-in-Chief at L’Equipe Magazine; he then went on to design and produce Hobo by L’Equipe, a documentary photography feature magazine on sport. For the 15 years he worked in the Equipe group, where his experience and knowledge of this pictorial world have been growing on a daily basis. At the end of his career with L’Equipe, in 2012, he decided to set something up based on his skill and genuine passion for photography, and in particular, sports photography by opening his own gallery in 2013.
