Biography
He was born in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region.
He began to be engaged in photography from childhood and from the age of 15 began to participate in the work of the city photo club. And from the first days of training I was interested not only in the technical side of photography, but something more. I myself, not understanding, tried to create not just a "photo for memory", but works that would remain out of time.
Photography has given and gives me the opportunity of creative realization, the creation of a new one that I can not achieve in other ways. It gives an opportunity to develop views on the world, intentions and reflections.
I do not make photography a permanent and obligatory work and take photographs when the quantity changes into quality or a ready image of work is formed or there is a great desire for creativity. Of course, external confirmation of the success of work or recognition of colleagues inspires and there is a desire to continue to work on, but at the moment this is secondary.
At the age of 18, I part in international photo exhibition in France for the first time.
In 1990, he participated in the founding congress of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia.
In 1995, the International Federation of Photo Art (FIAP) awarded the title Artist FIAP (artist FIAP).
In 2010, the International Federation of Photography awarded me, the first author from Russia, the title of Master FIAP to create my own style.
Awards and nominations:
Member of the jury of international exhibitions under the patronage of FIAP in Russia and Ukraine. Awarded over 200 awards, over 40 gold medals, first prizes and Grand Prix, including the following exhibitions: IV national photo award "Photographer of the Year" (Russia), Trirenberg super circuit (Austria), China 15 International Photographic Art Exhibition 2013 (China), Hamdan International Photography Award 2014 (United Arab Emirates), Sony World Photography Awards 2015 (Great Britain), Best of Photography Contest sponsored by SIGMA 2015 (USA), Siena International Photo Awards 2015 (Italy).
