Georgina is an Australian nature photographer with a deep passion for birds and invertebrates ('invertebirder') , ethics, and conservation.
She loves teaching the art and joy of nature photography through workshops, talks and articles. She has judged many nature photography competitions, both in Australia and internationally (including CUPOTY and Wildart POTY), and won numerous awards including winning the Bird Photographer of the Year (Portfolio Prize, Creative), Wildlife Photographer of the Year (Invertebrate), BirdLife Australia Photography Awards (Behaviour, Monochrome), Festival de l’Oiseau et de la Nature (Birds in Flight) and Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year (Portfolio Prize, Popular Prize, Threatened Species). She has two books published with Australian Geographic: For the Love of Birds (November 2021) and For the Love of Flora (October 2023).
