Nuno André Ferreira (1979) is a photojournalist from Leiria, Portugal.
He holds a degree in information sciences from the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga in Coimbra and began his career as a photographer at the Press Office of the Municipality of Leiria.
In August 2006 he moved to Viseu and since then collaborates with the Cofina group, where he works with their various publications including Correio da Manhã, Sábado, Record, Jornal de Negócios and CMtv. Ferreira also worked with Jornal do Centro between 2006 and 2012 and has been working with Agência Lusa and European Pressphoto Agency since 2009.
His work has received awards including the Estação Imagem Mora Award in the Environment category in 2010, the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) Photo of the Year Award in 2014 and the Rey de España International Journalism Award in 2019.
