Bob Patterson is founder and publisher of Street Photography Magazine. He developed a love for photography through his fascination with the black and white photos in Life and Look magazines as a child.
He began making photographs at the age of 10 with the family Brownie camera, developing film and printing photos in a makeshift basement darkroom.
After a long career as an executive in the cable television industry, he founded Street Photography Magazine in 2013. His mission is to create a digital platform that gives street and documentary photographers the ability to showcase their work and share their vision with a worldwide audience.
As a photographer, Bob enjoys documenting life on the streets and the stories of people in his local community and places the where he travels. He is also a life-long martial artist, avid traveler and curious to a fault.
