Roman Vondrouš graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic where, currently he works as an external university pedagogue.
He works as a photo reporter for the Czech News Agency, where he is responsible for daily photo agency news. The main part of his work is photographing horse-racing; both on the track and behind scenes. In addition to that he has been working on many other more extensive or shorter photographic documentary series.
