Ahmed El hanjoul

Country: Germany 🇩🇪

My name is Ahmed al-Hanjoul, I’m from Palestine originally but I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. I am a photographer and I’ve lived in Germany for 10 years now and I a German citizenship.
I have been fascinated by art in all its colors since I was a child, but later on I discovered a new talent that I never knew existed within me, that is photography, which I discovered by accident after meeting a Lebanese person at a friend's house in Hamburg city and that man asked me for a favor at the time which was finding a used camera online for his son, and that's when everything started because the camera that I bought for that man didn’t match the description that he got in mind which made me keep it, and this is how the camera became my companion and the reason for my fame and my talent was born and how maturity and completion gradually began.
The more I took a picture, the more I got involved and passionate about filming, which led me to look for what would help my talent and step it up to professionalism, until I was caught up in the threads of creativity and mastery which threw me into the thresholds of fame.
I started my photography journey in 2014, where the first pieces of my work was born and I started by photographing flowers and it lasted for about a year, then I went on to take photographs of young boys for years and that experience still means a lot to me. I moved on to the experience of photographing Models which didn’t last for long up until the depiction of expressive faces took all my attention, and why wouldn’t I since capturing photographs of faces is filled with silently spoken details, reflecting the truth of humans away from pretentiousness and exaggeration, taking the viewers on a journey to sail deep into each character in a way that fits with his/her perspective and thoughts, then I realized that this aspect of photography was the closest to my heart and the most relatable to my personality and it became a curriculum and pathway in which I adopted in the field of photography.
I put my foot on the first step up the ladder of success, and thanks to God I received many awards, and I won the top places through my participation in several international and Arab competitions related to photography.
The dream is yet to be complete and I still have a long way to go…
