Arkadiusz Kubisiak is an independent documentary and portrait photographer. He studied photography at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw and has participated in numerous workshops, including Transmission pour l’Image in Perpignan, France.
His work has garnered several accolades, including the PX3, Prix De La Photographie Paris, International Photography Award in The USA, Grand Press Photo, reFocus Photography Award, The USA, National Geographic Poland Photography Competition, Gomma B&W Award, Tokyo International Foto Award, BZ WBK Press Foto,
His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as The Art of Photography Show in the USA, the NEY Gallery in Warsaw, the Masovian Center of Contemporary Art in Poland, the B&B Gallery in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, Photography Gallery of the City of Rzeszow, Poland, the Warsaw Festival for Photographic Arts in Poland.
Kubisiak’s publications include articles in The Eye of Photography Magazine in France; Black & White Magazine in the USA; Social Documentary Network in the USA; Lens Magazine, International; Silvershotz Magazine in Australia; National Geographic Poland; Digital Camera Poland; Edge of Humanity in The USA in Duży Format; and various online publications. He has also authored books, including Punished Town, Passing Shadows, and group work Poland and its People. Kubisiak primarily focuses on long-term projects that address social issues.
