For me photography is a great passion. In 2011 I bought my first digital camera. On a holiday in Cuba with my wife, in 2012, I met Cosmin Danila, a Canadian photographer who invited me to spend some weeks in India. He showed me everything I wanted to know and shared his passion with me. The following years I got badly ill. During that time my passion for photography became stronger and stronger and I used the time to take a few photography workshops. In 2015, I have sent a few pictures for a portfolio review to Melissa Farlow, a National Geographic photographer from the USA. She helped me a lot to hone my skills both as a photographer and as a storyteller. She also invited me to take part in the Missouri Photo Workshop 2016, an annual week-long photojournalism workshop led by the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri. It has been a great experience to have met a lot of great photographers from all over the world and learn from them. It was like a dream come true. In 2019, based on portfolio merit, I was invited to participate in the XXXII Eddie Adams workshop where elite photo editors and 100 international handpicked visual storytellers were gathered for a long weekend to showcase their work, receive inspiration and get published.
