Mark is a documentary photographer based near London, UK. My practice is focussed on projects, with an interest in stories about people and groups taking action to build capability that address key social and environmental problems., my interest is in "solutions".
I originally studied engineering and have a PhD from the University of Cambridge, with research interests in innovation and social ecosystems, this often informs my photographic practice.. My work has been exhibited by ShutterHub (Rotterdam), PrintSpace (London), RPS, London Salon, Magnum Swaps, LifeFramer and Sony World Photography Awards, and published in various newspapers and magazines.
I am a Fellow of Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA) and, a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS), where I currently volunteer and chair the Documentary group.
