Born in 1990, Filippo Ferraro is an Italian documentary photographer. After a law degree and some related professional experiences, he turned to an in-depth study of photography focusing his research mainly on social, political, and environmental issues.
His long-term project "Lost Roots" has received recognition in various awards, including the Px3 Paris Photo Prize, the Moscow International Foto Awards, the Italy Photo Award and the Phodar Biennial.
He's currently based in Trieste - Italy.
