Portuguese. Born on Madeira Island in 1987, he currently lives in Porto, Portugal mainland.
Studied Arts until he was 17 years old and at 18 started in photojournalism as a freelance photojournalist. He worked daily serving with his photographs the “Diário de Notícias da Madeira”, national sports newspapers such as “Record”, “A Bola” and “O Jogo” for about 7 years. In 2006, he became a stringer to the news agency “AP – Associated Press” in Madeira Island.

As a freelancer, he has published works in national and international newspapers, magazines and agencies. He published a report in the magazine “National Geographic”

In 2016, already living in Porto, he was invited to be a Stringer photographer at GETTY IMAGES.

His curriculum includes a published author's book “20 ​​de Fevereiro”, a book about the natural disaster that shook the island of Madeira in 2010, causing around 43 deaths.
Three personal exhibitions and several photography awards, regional, national and international.
