Magnus, born in Sweden, is a professional photographer since decades and he as long as he can remember been fascinated by the frozen moment. Magnus is regarded as one of the world’s leading underwater photographers.

Magnus trade is aesthetic photo journalism in natural history field and science-related topics, with an extra passion for marine and freshwater environments. His work has been published in the World's leading publications, and he is an multi-awarded in the world's most prestigious photo competitions with image stories from tropics to the frozen oceans.

To inspire and to visualise what is still out there to protect is one of his goals, but also to reveal urgent, harsh and sometimes complex issues. Conservation has become an important part of his motivation.

Magnus is the director of one of the world's largest conservation communication initiative, Wild Wonders of Europe, that to date have reached more than 800 million people. He is also one of the founders of a the initiative Wild Wonders of China that put the spotlight on Chinas wildlife and wild places and their need for conservation support.
