Photojournalist Daniel Sannum Lauten (b. 1984), based in Oslo Norway, has been working as photojournalist since the age of 15. He started his career in the local newspaper Romerikes Blad. Since 2001 Daniel have been working on contract with daily Dagbladet and daily newspaper VG (www.vg.no). Daniel have also been the Nordic photographer for AFP- Agence France Press.
Today he work in TV 2 Sports Norway, as an Editorial Director, in charge of visual storytelling. Sannum Lauten is versatile, but concentrates mainly on sport and sport feature stories. Since 2000 he have been covering events and been working on projects around the world. He has covered more than 100 World Cup events in ski jumping, cross-country, alpine skiing and biathlon. Including several ski World Championships. He have also covered 14 Tour de France, and a lot of international football (Champions League and UEFA Euro). Since 2009 Daniel has worked closely and behind the scenes with former Prime Minister of Norway, today's Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
