Editor of BBC Wildlife Magazine for nearly 10 years, she is a trained biologist who has travelled the globe in search of the best stories and images.
For eight years, Sophie was co-manager and judge of the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. To date she has joined the juries of many of the world’s wildlife photo contests, from as far afield as Amsterdam, Shanghai and Mexico.
An affiliate of the International League of Conservation Photographers, Sophie works closely with photographers from around the world to bring their work to wider audiences, curating photography exhibitions and editing books.
