The process of finding beauty in daily scenes that by their ordinance do not stand out, bring him a level of excitement he hasn’t found in anything else. Thinking of moments to come, wandering alone, not knowing when your eyes cross the next coincidental interplay you were looking for, regardless of the outcome. His work is nothing more than an evergoing search for these moments to cherish.

Yann Calinski is a Polish-French autodidact photographer based in Amsterdam. He started photography late, in his mid twenties, and since 3 years switched entirely to film photography. This allowed him to slow down his process.
