Marcos Sobral was born in Lisbon, and since he can remember, he always felt drawn and had a huge passion for Photography. Following his passion, in 2004 he went to Barcelona to study Photography in I.E.F.C. (Institut de Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya) where he studied for 3 years.
Since then he has published in a big variety of publications, from National Geographic, to Altais, Blue Travel, PARQ Magazine, among many others, and he won several international prizes such as a Commended Award in the Wildlife Photographer Of The Year 2013, a highly commended award in the Environmental Photographer fo the year in 2010, 2011 and 2014, a 1º place in BES/Cais prize in 2008, among others.
