Massimiliano Faralli was born and raised in Prato.
He has practiced photography as a professional for many years in the wedding and architecture sectors.Attracted by new techniques, he undertakes different photographic paths that lead him to experiment new visions. He finds in "street photography" the ideal tool for his personal growth, a personal moment where he happily discovers himself among people.
He likes to photograph in open settings, popular events, demonstrations, where he looks for creative insights and stories of ordinary people to tell. Empathy is the emotion that drives much of his work; he moves with the people he portrays, close to them, and enters the scene: not hiding but interacting.
He holds his own Street Photography Workshop and collaborates with Photoclubs and Cultural Associations for photography and street photography classes.
His works have received many awards, honorable mentions in Italy and abroad, have been published in national and international magazines and on various art and photography websites, exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in many cities and major photography festivals in Europe and around the world.
He has won major international competitions, among the main ones in 2022 Overall Winner Urban at Trieste Photo Days, Miami Street Photography Festival, Fujifilm Moment Street Photo Awards.
For him, making photography is about being attracted to the energy of the moment, letting oneself be captured by the flow of that instant until becoming part of it.
