Andrea Carrubba (Italy, 1984) is an independent documentary photographer and photojournalist with a main interest on social and humanitarian issues. After University he studied at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan and he graduated in Professional Photography. He also attended the War Reporting Training Camp, a HEFAT training specialized for reporters working in crisis areas.
Freelance since 2012 he has published among others on Time, Washington Post, The Guardian, The Times, El Pais, Cnn, Los Angeles Times, Der Spiegel, The Telegraph, Vanity Fair, Die Zeit, Le Figaro, L'Obs, Al Jazeera, Internazionale, Vice and Rolling Stone.
He is currently working on reportage stories and breaking news in Italy and abroad
