Ares Jonekson Saragi is a Sumatran-born Indonesian photographer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He begin his photography path since 2007. His interest in photography was start when he worked in a house rehabilitation and reconstruction for Tsunami Aceh project. He has opportunities to see the beautiful landscape in Aceh and meet various people and culture.

Now he is focusing on documentary, travel, street and portrait photography. His personal projects explore different themes such as history, subculture, environment, and social issues. Be a of Winner National Sony Award 2018 in Motion Category and Shortlisted Sony Award 2020 in Street Category was some of his International achievement.
