Alicja Zmysłowska is a dog photographer based in Upper Silesia, Poland, with 18 years of experience capturing the beauty and individuality of canine subjects. Her work allows her to combine her two greatest passions—dogs and creating art—into the perfect lifestyle. She began her photography journey in 2007, and in 2011, a video she recorded went viral. In 2014, her photo "Friends," featuring three hugging dogs, also went viral, further cementing her place in the global photography community. Alicja has had an individual exhibition at the Palace of Fine Arts in Krakow.
As the first-ever Canon Europe Ambassador specializing in dog photography, Alicja is passionate about sharing her unique style with the world. Her work spans across different styles, from capturing dogs in breathtaking landscapes and creating fine art black-and-white pieces, to producing colorful, dreamy portraits of dogs. These portraits often feature their humans, allowing her to capture the magical bond between them. Alicja has photographed dogs in 20 countries across 3 continents and has led workshops worldwide for the past 11 years, mentoring others in the art of dog photography.
