Tania Malkin

Country: Australia 🇦🇺

Tania describes some of her earliest memories are of collecting landscape images as travel postcards while on family camping trips around Western Australia and receiving her first SLR camera at the age of seven. From that moment photography and art have been a part her life journey and story. Drawing inspiration from the Australian outback colours and remoteness, the Australian Impressionist Art movement and great Australian photographers such as Richard Woldendorp.
Tania has studied fine art and art history and used to take photographs images to reference for paintings, however Landscape photography took preference in the late 90’s, developing a passion for Aerial Photography. Tania describes an aerial image as an illustration of the landscape in a completely different way, the photographer and the viewer are taken on a journey that moves between reality and the surreal, an abstract illustration of the history of the Landscape.
