My name is Vladislav Shapovalov. Currently I am based in St. Petersburg, Russia. My mediums are photo and video. I capture the ever-changing world, projecting it through the prism of my vision. My works are either totally non staged, where I create using the raw reality, or it is a fully made up art, where I control every little thing.
Currently I am studying cinematography in the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television. These academic practices and my own interpretation of them help me to achieve the required result regardless of the circumstances.
My challenge is to see beyond the ordinary and find meanings in small details that are always around us.
