Claudio Palmisano is a photographer who loves the sea and is an expert in digital photography and post-production.
From 2006 to 2016 he was co-founder, with Francesco Zizola, and laboratory director of the post-production and printing laboratory of 10bphotography in Rome, an international service specialized in photojournalism.
Among his clients Yuri Kozyrev, James Nachtwey, Francesco Zizola, Marcus Bleasdale, Lynsey Addario, Adam Ferguson, Alessandro Cosmelli, Gaialight, Tanya Habjouqa, Anastasia Taylor-Lind, Marco Longari, Massimo Siragusa, Tommaso Protti, Paolo Pellegrin, ...
He has post-produced dozens of books, covers and reports published on TIME, New York Times, National Geographic and the entire international press, winners of the most important awards in the world.
As a photographer, since 2010 he has mainly dealt with the Mediterranean Sea, specializing in underwater photography, he is one of the official photographers of the Italian coast guard.
In years of work he has created, with a sophisticated shooting technique, undersea panoramas of very large format (Linosa 2011 - 2021), which he exhibited at the Mimara museum in Zagreb (2017), "Lucrezia's room" (Ferrara), “Paoletti” (Bologna) and at the Stadium of Domitian in piazza Navona (Rome). He has been teaching at the “Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata” since 1995 and has an intense consultancy and workshop activity in Italy and abroad.
