Raoul Iacometti is a freelance photographer whose practice bridges commercial commissions with a sustained personal research. His work spans documentary, social and industrial reportage, interior photography, events, dance, and portraiture, with a strong focus on visual storytelling.
His images have been published in major Italian and international newspapers and magazines, including Class, GVision, Gardenia, Platform, and Professional Photographers of America, among others. His photographs have also been selected as album covers for Italian and international musicians. He has published several photographic books and has exhibited widely in significant solo and group photography exhibitions.
His long-term projects include social reportages addressing themes of disability and inclusion, alongside extensive industrial reportage documenting contemporary production and work environments. He has received awards and recognitions in prestigious international competitions such as PX3 Paris, Monochrome Awards New York, and MIFA Moscow, as well as critical acclaim from leading voices within the LensCulture platform. His works are held in the Historical Photographic Archive of the Fondazione 3M, the Archivio Fotografico Italiano, and in renowned private collections.
Raoul Iacometti is also actively involved in education, teaching basic and advanced photography courses and leading workshops and seminars in Italy and abroad on portraiture, dance photography, street photography, and smartphone photography.
