Priska Seisenbacher, born in 1990, lives in Vienna. For the past decade, her focus has been on Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and Tajikistan. Seisenbacher particularly provides insights into the realities of women's lives. In her books and reports, she relates cultural-religious, historical and political connections to the people whose stories she tells. In her last book "Die Frauen im Karakorum" (published in German by National Geographic in 2023) she tells about the successes and obstacles of the women in Pakistan's Karakoram and Hindukush mountains like the football girls from Passu.
