Thomas Borberg began as staff photographer at the Danish newspaper Politiken for 10 years before he changed position and worked as photo editor-in-chief from 2009-2021.
He also works as a visiting lecturer of photojournalism and portfolio reviewer at photo festivals and universities around the world. Thomas has also worked as photo editor on numerous book projects and as a jury member for national and international photo contests, including the 2016 World Press Photo Contest as a member of the Documentary and News jury, and the 2018 World Press Photo Contest as Chairman of the Sports jury. In June 2021 he became staff photographer at Politiken again.
