Anthony Pizzoferrato (b. Columbus, Ohio, USA) is an Italian-American documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Yerevan, Armenia since 2017. His work focuses on current events and long-term documentary projects exploring conflict, history, politics, and social and environmental issues, particularly in Post-Soviet countries and the Middle East.

Working with close access and sensitivity, he documents underreported communities and complex narratives shaped by war and historical transition. His photographs have been published by international outlets including TIME, BBC, CNN, Politico, Bloomberg, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Die Zeit, Le Figaro, Libération, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Meduza and Novaya Gazeta among others.

He is currently a contributor to The Associated Press.
