An experienced Picture Editor, Leon’s professional journey into the world of editorial photography began as Digital Imaging Assistant with Action Plus Sports Images back in 2011 at the agency’s former offices located in the heart of Farringdon, London.

Following a brief period working freelance as a photographer, and several more years on agency picture desks, Leon is now Picture Editor at Sky Sports, one of Europe’s leading sports broadcasters and digital publishers, and is responsible for the output of visual content across Sky Sports digital platforms, playing a key role in ensuring the very best use of engaging, dynamic imagery to support Sky’s digital editorial.

A jury member for national and international photography awards, he most recently joined the admissions panel for the 2023-2025 edition of the Canon Ambassador Programme.
