Luis Veniegra is a professional freelance photographer with more than 30 years experience.
Originally from the Philippines. Luis graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Soon after graduating Luis worked as a staff photographer for Chinese Commercial News in Manila covering current events and sports.
Now based in Sydney, Australia Luis freelance as a contributor to SOPA Images and The Daily Tribune (Philippines) concentrating mainly on sports. His photographs have recently been published by The Guardian, BBC News, ABC (Australian), ESPN, SBS, Badminton World Federation, Yahoo News, etc.
Luis has covered major events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup Playoff and Finals, Asian Games, FIBA Men's World Cup Finals, Commonwealth Games and several major Badminton Events such as Sudirman Cup, Thomas and Uber Cup, World Tour Finals and World Junior Championships.
