Amr Alfiky is an award-winning photojournalist and filmmaker based in the United Arab Emirates. A staff photographer for Reuters, he has reported extensively across the Middle East, documenting conflict, displacement, and humanitarian crises in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Turkey, and Libya. His work has been central to Reuters’ visual coverage of major regional events, including the 2023 earthquakes, the Libya floods, and tensions along the Israel–Lebanon border. Alfiky has also worked with National Geographic Magazine and The New York Times, and his photography has appeared in leading international publications including TIME, The Guardian, and The Atlantic.
