Alessandra Mauro

Born in Rome, Alessandra Mauro holds a degree in Literature. She has been the Artistic Director of the Forma Foundation for Photography in Milan since its inception in 2005 and serves as Editorial Director of the publishing house Contrasto in Rome.

As a curator, both independently and for Contrasto, she has conceived and organized numerous retrospective photography exhibitions. As Editorial Director of Contrasto, she has also designed and curated many books.

She is the author, among others, of the following works:
