Alessia Locatelli is the Artistic Director of the Biennale della Fotografia Femminile (BFF) and co-director of the Archivio Enrico Cattaneo.
An independent curator, she organizes exhibitions in collaboration with institutions and private entities both in Italy and internationally, while maintaining an active role in project planning and consultancy. She is a contributor to specialized photography magazines and serves as a critical reference for the "Dossier Fotografia" in the CAM (Catalogo di Arte Moderna), published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori – Gruppo Cairo.
Alessia also teaches in photography schools and collaborates as a lecturer and visiting professor with universities. She participates in international juries and awards, including the British Journal of Photography, and serves as a folio reviewer and curator at prominent PhotoFestivals such as Les Rencontres d’Arles.
