Henrique Casinhas born in 1986 is a Portuguese photojournalist whose career began with the adrenaline of the Atlantic waves in his hometown of Sintra. Originally trained in Graphic Design, his passion for storytelling through the lens quickly took over, leading him from the world of surf photography to the heart of international news and sports documentation.

A defining moment in his professional journey came in 2016, when he was selected for the prestigious Canon Student Program at the Visa Pour l’Image festival in France. Since then, Henrique has become a regular contributor to leading national and international newspapers, as well as global image agencies, documenting a wide range of social and sporting events.
