Vegard has worked as an agency photographer since 2011 and was employed by Bildbyrån in 2017. He has covered more than 100 matches in the Premier League, major sporting events such as Summer and Winter Olympics, Paralympics, Champions League finals, Tour de France and Wimbledon, as well as several World Cups and European Championships in athletics, skiing, ice hockey, handball and cycling. Vegard today follows the Norwegian national football teams closely as their team photographer. He has won several awards in Picture of the Year International, NPPA’s Best of Photojournalism and the Norwegian Picture of the Year Awards.
