The title of this White Rhino image suggests the hope I personally have for this amazing creature rather than the cruel reality. Shortly after taking this image three rhinos were found dead in the reserve. It is uncertain if this rhino was one of the unfortunate animals. Poaching has increased in Southern Africa and Kenya due to the increase in black market prices of the "precious" horn.
