Mozambican wildlife veterinarian Mércia Ângela is pictured on her daily walk with Boogli, a female Cape pangolin that was confiscated, along with a leopard skin, as a 2.2 kg infant by Gorongosa National Park's law enforcement team. Mércia was one of Boogli's primary care-givers, working with her every day as she was raised to adulthood. A few weeks later, Boogli was released back into the wild.
