A woman holds a wooden cross and prays for the lava to stop and not reach her home. During the first days of May, the Pacaya volcano threw rivers of lava that remained a few meters from the homes of dozens of people. The residents carried out a seven-week Way of the Cross to ask for the lava to go back.
