Immortalized in the movie, The Karate Kid, the crane kick move is a fictionalized version of an old Japanese technique involving both hands up in the air and a one-legged stance. The image appears to show the flamingos with wings up (like the hands in the famous Karate Kid movie) and several of them with one of their legs up.
