In spring, the breeding season of the Japanese stream toad begins. A pair of these amphibians, still engaged in egg deposition, was submerged in a mass of eggs, barely moving. The expanse of eggs covering every corner provided a unique opportunity to perfectly capture their reproductive behavior.
