The Río Tinto River, in southern Spain, has a unique red and orange colour with incredible patterns. The colour is derived from the river's chemical makeup. The river is extremely acidic and contains very high levels of iron. The combination of the acidic water and heavy metals creates the distinctive colours and unusual enviroment of this remarkable river.
