Seema and her friends work, as usual, among the trash of Anandabazar in Chittagong. The city, the second most populous in Bangladesh and home to its largest port, is struggling with severe plastic pollution. Due to poverty, Seema began working there during school days to support her family, earning only 4-6 dollars a day. Her dream has always been to study and become a social worker, helping people in need. However, the harsh reality of poverty has prevented her from pursuing this dream, leaving it unfulfilled.
