During a stay in Biebrza National Park, Marek had a direct view from his room of a white stork's nest, perched atop a tall pole above the treeline. Every evening, he would photograph these birds as they settled in for the night. Finally, on a clear-skied evening, the nest appeared isolated beneath a blanket of stars. The stork, barely visible in the nest, was resting while the dark silhouette of the forest stood out below.
