On 4 November 2008, Ulrika’s life changed forever when a Learjet 45 crashed next to her in Mexico. In a matter of seconds, an ordinary moment turned into a devastating accident. The explosion and intense heat left her with severe burn injuries: forty percent of her skin was badly burned, including her face. What followed was a long and painful journey. Ulrika had to undergo extensive medical treatment and endure months of recovery, both physically and emotionally. The road back to everyday life was difficult and often uncertain, requiring immense courage and determination. Yet, despite the trauma and the challenges she faced, Ulrika gradually found the strength to move forward. Step by step, she moved on with her life, drawing on a deep resilience that allowed her not only to survive the tragedy, but also to live with renewed hope and purpose.
