The agricultural region around Wittenoom Hills consists of a collection of large grain producing farms whose individual fields can extend over 4000 hectares. It is one of Australia's high producing areas where the crop can exceed 4 tonnes/ hectare. Nevertheless, from the air the landscape presents some strange features, and this image with its complex circular pond and the shape of a bird is surely one of them.
