During Djibouti's winter season, juvenile whale sharks aggregate in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Tadjoura. As part of a research team studying these juvenile sharks, I had the opportunity to photograph them and their associated fauna. Here, a school of golden pilot fish accompanies a juvenile whale shark and forms a memorable and colourful line in front of the shark's mouth.
