On 24 November 2015, at the entrance of the Neumayer Channel the wind has instantly stopped blowing at sea level, but probably started to strongly blow in altitude, sweeping the clouds and leaving a mixture of lenticular clouds over the mountains of the Fief range on Wiencke Island (Palmer Archipelago, Antarctic Peninsula). The sea was totally immobile, creating a mirror surface, with the feeling of floating in the air, in a surreal silence.
