Itoua Brice poses with a dwarf crocodile he caught in the swamps of Lake Télé Community Reserve, the largest swamp forest in the region. The tool used to pull the crocodiles out of their dens is a liana with a hook. Crocodile hunting is allowed in the reserve for local consumption, but selling them without authorization is prohibited. Lake Télé Community Reserve is co-managed by Congo’s wildlife authorities and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
